Along with my book buddy š. I participated in the Picture Book chat to get to know mentors available for this yearās WriteMentor summer mentorship program. I was ready at 8pm BST on the dot with my first question.
It was great to watch the mentors respond to my tweets, as well as those of others. It increased my enthusiasm with the picture book writing community and the program itself. With the information I gained, I managed to draft my letter and entry. I also entered the SCBWI Work In Progress contest for picture books. Tonight was a great night for Picture Book craft! š»š¾
