I spent the weekend on a kidlitconfab about Non-Fiction. The Writing Barn is in Austin, Texas and I am in the UK. This is one of the benefits of the new world! I logged on at 3pm for the 9am start in the US. It was a great confab, highly interactive with practical workshops and break out groups to meet others. I also had a 121 with Stephanie Fretell-Hill about writing informational fiction or historical fiction inspired by real events. I am very inspired and even found I could edit some of my fiction manuscripts with what I learnt.
