In his day, Louis Bonestrong could play the trumpet like no one else, but since d-day, he just couldn’t summon up the lung power! He tried a high buzz and a low buzz, but he just couldn’t do it.

Out of despair, Louis tried his hand at the trom-bone, but it just sounded humerus. He had a go at the saxo-bone, but his throat was bone dry. It was no good, the trumpet was where his heart was. Louis felt sad and worn down to the bone. There had to be a way to keep playing.

Louis decided to go back to basics. He listened to great trumpet players. Louis focused on tone and marked rhythm with his bony fingers and feet. He remembered himself being bonetastic in concerts!

As he rediscovered his steps to trumpet stardom, Louis remembered what his first teacher told him, music is just in your bones! With a renewed self-belief, Louis stood tall, and using a full deep breath like he used to, he blew that trumpet.

It was spine-tingling! Tibia honest, the other skeletons were in awe and made no bones about saying that Louis was still the greatest trumpet player ever!
